The Groz Sledge Hammer with our unique Indestructible handle technology also called the “BIG BOY” of hammers, is designed to take a heavy beating.
The handle of our hammers is constructed with spring steel bars for added strength that are locked into the head with a steel locking plate, ensuring that the head remains securely attached and will never become loose or dislodged. The ergonomic rubber grip handle absorbs vibration and reduces fatigue making it easy to use the hammer for extended hours comfortably. The rugged steel head is forged from special steel and induction hardened 50-58 HRC for unmatched durability. These hammers conform to BS 876, SANS387:2014, and ANSI standards and are an indispensable tool for professionals in the construction trade, for driving in stakes, heavy demolition work, fracturing stone, driving fence posts, rebar work, railroads and bending & and shaping metal.
