Product Description
The Groz Spring Calipers are versatile tools designed for comparative measurements. Manufactured from selected steel these feature a spring joint for precise settings. The legs pivot on a roller and are tensioned by a bow spring, which allows for accurate adjustments. The fulcrum stud of our calipers has a large bearing surface, which prevents side deflection of the legs, and the adjustment is made by opening and closing the legs using an adjusting nut. An outside caliper is a useful measurement transfer tool when working with round stock or oddly shaped materials and then transferring that measurement to a ruler.
