To set the required torque
a. Press the safety button & pull out the adjustment ring.
b. Turn the ring to the desired value.
c. Press the safety button again & push back the adjustment ring
d. The wrench is set at the desired torque & ready for use.
A fully secure locking mechanism avoids accidental/forced adjustment
To tighten fasteners, move the torque wrench in a clockwise direction. Reversing the ratchet allows the wrench to be used in an anti-clockwise direction, used for loosening nuts & fasteners
